The main thing you need to know about the Flarium-developed application FlashSlider is what it can do for you. The application’s functionality is somewhat obvious from its name, but just in case it isn’t, I am going to spell it out for you: with FlashSlider you can easily create Flash slides.

Here’s the part that is not obvious from FlashSlider’s name. You can add music, you can use various transition effects, you can add titles, and you can add navigation buttons to the slides you create with FlashSlider. You can also assign an URL to the slideshow or different URLs to each slide. You can save your slides as SWF slideshow, HTML slideshow or Macromedia projector file.

Before you go get and put it to the test, take a look the following technical details:
Download – the download weighs in at 2.4MB, which means it will complete on very little time (even if you have to contend with a less than spectacular internet connection).
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, FlashSlider provides support for Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Limitations – in the trial version you cannot assign your URL links to the slides, your slides will always link to FlashSlider website. In the trial version the FPS value is limited to 24. The trial version displays an “Unregistered” label in the program title.

FlashSlider is a useful, easy to use utility that will allow web developers, social network users, and all other users to easily and rapidly create Flash slides.
