FlashSlider makes flash slide-shows in 3 easy steps.
Look through the short Flash Slider tutorial and create slide shows for your web sites:
- Create or Open project
FlashSlider requests either Create a new project or Open already existing project.
Use double-click to open a project.
To select interface language: Menu > "?" > Language
- Set Movie properties and choose at least one slide (an image file) for a new project
The first project's size is 400x300 pixels but size changing will be saved for next projects.
Set the Movie properties:
- General: Movie size, Background color, Movie URL;
- Navigation: navigation buttons (Play and Pause, Rewind, Next and Previous) and actions after a movie finish;
- Sound: including music;
- Preloader: including any preloader displaying the loading process;
- Links: adding different URLs for each frame;
- Titles: typing titles to each frame.
To edit the movie properties choose: Menu > Edit > Movie properties
- Add other slides
Choose from menu Slide > Add or use "Ctrl+A" to add one slide (an image file) to the end of the movie.
To choose several slides click Slide > Add slides option.
Right-click any slide to call the context menu with all options for adding, inserting after or before, changing and deleting slides.
To change any slide right-click the one, click the "Browser picture..." and choose another image file.
- Set properties and effects
Set the slide properties to make your slide-show good-looking:
Slide settings toolbar includes the following settings: Image, Titles, Link; Motion.
Motion to the next slide toolbar includes the effect list and the effect preview.
For a blank slide the effects are similar to the effects for a rectangle with color of the movie background.
- Make movie
To preview the ready movie click the Play button in the Playback toolbar. The preview FPS (Frame-per-Second) is equal 24 so it is "lighter" than the real movie. With the timeline tool you can play the movie from any position.
To complete a slide show choose: Menu > File > Publish Movie (press "Ctrl+E") > set FPS (Frame-per-Second) value and choose Publish type.
Note. To copy the project to another computer save all image files and the project file (*.fsl) in the same folder.
Also, there is a project sample in FlashSlider.
