  2. What is Flash Slider software return policy?

We are not happy if you are not happy with our software, so we offer an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee on FlashSlider software license, except as listed below. Well, there is one obvious condition: you must remove the FlashSlider software from your computer. 3. Can I select more than one picture at the same time?

Use the "Add slides" command of the context menu (right-click the selected slide) and select the slides holding Ctrl or Shift key. Probably you tried to add several pictures using the "Add slide" command.

  4. How can I change url link? The swf file have link only your website http://www.flashslider.com

The www.flashslider.com link is a limitation of an unregistered version and you'll be able to change the URL link after the registration.

  5. Is it correct that the slideshows limit is 400 seconds and all images after 400 sec are not displayed?

That doesn't depend on the time, only on the number of frames:
"...a Flash movie can have up to 16000 frames." ("The magic number")

    Here is a simple calculation:
    16000(max. frames) / 30(fps) = 533 (sec)
If a slide is shown 4 sec and effect 1 sec then:
    533 / (4+1) = 106 (slides)
So you can use either 106 slides with the fps=30 or more slides with less fps.

  6. I just installed your program on my computer and added some pictures. But all I get when creating the SWF File is a big RED picture, nothing else to see in the page. What is the problem?

Please update FlashSlider. Macromedia Flash displays not all modifications of JPEG files so beginning with the 2.1.2 version FlashSlider checks up and converts JPEG files automatically ( Progressive -> Baseline compression)

  7. Do you know that you can insert a flash movie in a powerpoint presentation? (The tip was sent by Roger. We hope it will be helpfull)

These presentations are very popular now and can be used to insert a flash movie with e.g. your birthday pictures. If you send your flash movies this way most people would be able to see the movie without the difficulties of opening a flash movie in internet explorer. A lot of people can't open a flash movie without some instructions.
To insert a flash movin a Pp presentation go to the View menu, Toolbars , choose Control Toolbox. Then click on More Controls. Choose Shockwave flash object and define the box in which the movie will be shown on your slide. Now go within the box with your mouse and with a right click select Porperties. Set all the parameters like EmbedMovie and Playing to True and in Movie enter the path to your swf file.
Hopefully this will help you in attracting more people in making swf movies.

  8. Will it be possible in future releases to add music to a movie?

This feature is available beginning with version 2.1 (the ability to add background sound ).

  9. I can't disable the "Add total url" option in the Movie Properties dialogue. When I create an swf movie it comes with a url to flashslider.com. I even can not insert my own url - it will be change back to your site when creating swf movie. Is this a bug?

No, this is a limitation of unregistered version.

The slide show (in the FlashSlider program that is called "movie") is saved as an swf file. After you made the movie, preview it. Open the web-page with any HTML editor and insert the movie (the swf file) into the page.

The slide show will be uploaded just upon web-page opening.
